Executive Director - Andrea Machen
Born Feb 11th in Birmingham, Andrea is right at home living in Moody. She graduated
from Shades Valley High School and attended Jefferson State College. She is married
to her husband, Shawn, of 21 years and they have two sons.
Andrea worked as a legal secretary and a loan officer before becoming a mother. She
spent 17 years raising and home schooling her two boys before enrolling them in a
private christian school. Andrea enjoys attending all of her boys sporting and school
activities, working with her church, playing softball and riding dirt bikes with her
husband and two boys on the weekends.
Andrea became the director of the chamber in July of 2006.
She is a member of the LadyBUGS Association. She serves on the board for the Twin Lakes Property Owners Association, World Victory Church, City of Moody Park & Recreation and is the Chairperson for the City of Moody Police Department Use of Force Committee.
